Sicily in the Summer

Sicily combines stunning scenery with vibrant, medieval cities and fantastic food, drink and nightlife.  Added to that is Europe’s most active volcano, which had erupted only a couple of months previously.

Tel Aviv and Jerusalem

Tel Aviv is chilled out during the day and a proper party city at night.  The food is great, there is a huge amount to do, or alternatively the beach is never far away.  Jerusalem on the other hand is the capital of world religion, with all the diversity and madness that comes with […]

In and around London

These are a few photographs which I took around my home city of London, which is such a dynamic and diverse city that that there is always something to point a lens at.

Le Mans 24 hour cycle

More famous for the iconic car race, Le Mans has for the past few years played host to a cycle race over a shortened version of the circuit.  After a briefing in French (useful) our team of 4 somewhat amateur cyclists was pitched against some of the best cyclists from around the world, who […]

Dartmoor ponies and bluebells

The Dartmoor ponies first regarded me with suspicion, but once I had started clicking they became very friendly.  One in particular wanted to see what was being pointed at him and why!  It was an incredible feeling sitting amongst them and just watching them interact.  Such a social animal, and so peaceful.

Metrocab Hybrid Launch at City Hall, London

Until the Mercedes Vito arrived on the scene a couple […]

Pete and Claire’s wedding

I was the (unofficial) wedding photographer and (official) witness when Pete and Claire tied the knot in Sri Lanka. Probably the only wedding I have ever been to with scary looking dancers, and definitely the only one with an elephant as a bridesmaid, complete with dress!

Alset and Aston Martin at the Nurburgring

The Alset Aston Martin at the Ring

The Nürburgring, in the hills just south of Cologne, Germany, once called, “The Green Hell” by Jackie Stewart, is home to one of the most demanding races in the world: the ADAC 24h Rennen Nürburgring.  On Sunday and Monday the 19th and 20th May, the iconic circuit played […]

Geneva 2013

This year at Geneva there was no ’Green Pavilion’ or separate exhibition space for alternative fuel vehicles. Instead, the electric, hybrid and hydrogen-fuelled vehicles shared the floor with manufacturers’ conventional internal combustion engine cars.  Indeed, this year there was practically no OEM manufacturer which did not exhibit at least one alternative fuel vehicle in […]

Vmoto London launch

Very few cleantech companies, let alone electric vehicle companies, have made it on to the stock exchange in recent years.  That changed today, however, with the admission of Australian-listed Vmoto Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of electric scooters, to London’s AIM Market.  As part of the admission, Vmoto raised £1.6m from institutional investors through […]
